Happy Halloween: Kiss the Girl

Outfit Details:
Made by me and my mum.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays - mainly because it's fun, I love costumes, and I have great memories from past ones. When Halloween came around last year I really didn't have any intentions to dress up, but after a suggestion from my friend I decided to be Ariel. In case the red hair wasn't an indicator, she's always been my favorite Disney princess. While my Halloween plans that year fell through, months later I managed to wear the home made costume outside of the house and get some pictures.

On a freezing morning I dressed up and went to the beach, tugging along a friend who slept huddled in blankets while I took pictures. The experience made me realize that Ariel's hair would be nothing like suggested and my hair and beach weather don't get along so well. But, now you know: I'm a total sucker for Ariel and Halloween.
I love dressing up, and well, I'm totally okay with it.

Happy Halloween!

1978

Outfit Details:
Cardigan: Kohl's
Dress & Necklace: Lace Affair
Boots & Tights: Target
Bracelet & Earrings: Forever21

Early mornings can be so beautiful, yet they seem so easily missed by a girl who works nights. I sleep past them or work right through them depending on the day. But sometimes I catch them perfectly and I can't help but smile at the beauty they yield and the silence that surrounds them. I'm not really a morning or a night person, but sometimes I find myself leaning towards mornings, especially as they yield beautiful lighting.

One of my favorite thing about New Orleans were the bookstores. My Francophile came out and I exploded with joy in being able to find so many french books. Also, how awesome is it that there was a cat living in the bookstore?

Balconies and Such

Outfit Details;
Shirt: Forever21
Jeans: hottopic
Vest: Thrifted
Boots: TJmaxx
Necklace: Ebay

This was taken from our balcony in New Orleans after a eight hour drive. Our drive into the city didn't offer us much of a view, but luckily where we were staying was a quick walk from all the life of the French Quarter. So after getting settled that evening we were finally able to wander about and explore a whole new place. Have I mentioned how much I love traveling?
