Climbing rocks in a full length skirt might not seem the wisest, but it makes the whole thing an adventure. The real thing that made it difficult was the shoes. Still give me a day in the woods or by the sea and I'll be as happy as can be. Seriously, it's time to go.

Everything has been terribly behind on my blog, so while my hair has been short for a while, there's been no pictures here to document it. So welcome to the first pictures with fifteen or so inches off.
Stan Hywet is absolutely beautiful and it was the perfect day to just tour the gardens and find a quiet, cool spot to read a book. I'm looking forward towards my next visit-when the snow is finally all gone and I have that perfect book to read.

I've always wanted to spend an hour or two in this garden, but only happened upon it when it was ice cold. At the end of spring last year I finally got a chance and how beautiful it it was.
