The best thing about coming home from work is this - not too little - little guy. He gets all hyped up when he sees me, runs around in circles and steps on my foot - it's how he shows affection. No matter how long a day seemed, he manages to brighten it up when I see him charging towards me, normally before I even get out of the car. Life would not be the same without these little creatures along our sides.

If I'm going to be honest I'd tell you that the days tend to blend into each other. I often forget whether it's Thursday or Friday - or even worse not realizing it's Tuesday. The day I stumbled outside to take these pictures I had hardly slept, having a wedding the day before and then something early in the morning my lack of sleep might have gotten to me. But having been up since five I took advantage of the early morning light - which is just gorgeous lighting all around. I took time curling my hair and made a mess in my room trying to find an outfit - honestly that's not too unusual. In the pictures the weather looks pleasant, perfect for a stroll, while the real deal was so cold I was huffing and puffing and jumping around like a little girl. After I went onto my day, and fulfilled my obligations I fell into bed and disregarded any leftover hours of daylight. That all being said there is something awesome about waking up with the sun. Heaven knows - me being a night owl - that doesn't happen very often, but the rare opportunity isn't lost on me.

Little Tastes of Fall

This skirt was bought particularly for work, but of course it's had some other outings as well. It's a more classic look than I take to, as I prefer things a little more frilly, but this was fun none the less; and it gave me the chance to bring out one of my favorite dresses that I don't get to wear as often as I would like.

 By this time it feels like fall is practically gone, especially as most of the leaves have fallen and Halloween has passed. All it means is that it's nearly time to discover recipes for thanksgiving and that stores (already) have their Christmas decorations out. Still give me fall anytime - I have a serious crush on it.
