The Everyday Days

Outfit Details:
Jacket & Shirt: TJmax
Jeans: Forever21
Boots: DWS
Necklace: Lace Affair
Ring: Belgium

So this is what I actually wear on a more every day style. For while I love dresses and skirts, my adventures often require more "practical" clothing. Sometimes, really, you just need jeans and then probably combat boots - but that just might be me.

The Harbor's Sunsets

Outfit Details:
Jacket & Shirt: TJmaxx
Skirt: Kohl's
Gloves & Tights: Target
Boots: DSW

You might not be able to tell, but it was freezing and it was the middle of December. I've made the walk down to this little harbor many times. When I find it at a late hour like this, right at sunset, it is at its best.

Ocean Trapped

Outfit Details:
Sweater & Shirt & Tights & Shorts & Socks: Target
Boots: Ebay
Scarf: Paris

I recently read a post about how it was a fashion "don't" to wear all the same brand. I narrowly escaped such a mistake. We must thank my shoes and scarf, otherwise, I would have committed fashion suicide it seems. It's impossible to know from one look that my wardrobe comes from one store, and I may seem a walking advertisement for Target, but I wouldn't call it a fashion don't. Fashion "don'ts" are other people's opinions of what they think shouldn't be worn - but that's my own opinion. Fashion is subjective and what is beautiful and comfortable to one will not be for others. Let's not try to judge the crowds on it, alright?

I might have mentioned before that I tend to dress in themes. I don't really pair clothes together rather than decide that I want to be punk or fairy-tale looking. The idea starts early in the morning and often dictates my eye makeup to my music choices. This was one of those days,

There has to be something about seeing frost and snow in pictures in June, but hey they have to show up sometime, right? Looking at these pictures mostly makes me miss my combat boots, it's finally gotten too warm for me to tolerate them.

The Remains of a Ruin

Outfit Details:
Lace Vest: Forever21
Top/Dress & Boots: TJ Maxx
Skirt & Belt: Kohl's
Necklace: World Market
Ring: Belgium
Mood Ring: Travel Store

End of August through the first week of September is the time of fairs around here. This outfit was put together with this event in mind; the boots, which can be easily roughed up, were comfy for the trekking through the rows and rows of vendors, plus they didn't look out of place when I got mud on them and maybe some ketchup from my fries.

The fairs mark one of the best times of the year-stating the end of the summer and the beginning of, my personal favorite, autumn. My best friend and I have a tradition of always riding a ride called the zipper, which makes us a little lightheaded by the end. Also, I always make sure to grab some fries and a Hawaiian ice afterwards. You can't go wrong there. With the fairs over it feels like everything is slowing down, which gives me the chance to start putting more time into the blog and to catch up on all the TV I've missed. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday!
