Wind in the Hair

Outfit Details:
 Sweater: second hand
Dress: Target
Underdress: Forever21
 Vest: who knows
Boots: Ebay
Necklace: gift

These are the last outfit pictures I took before I chopped off my hair. Looking back, I don't miss my long hair at all. Particularly, I enjoy it taking fifteen minutes less to brush through my easily tangled hair. Afternoons in hillside like these caused the best of tangles.

Charcoal Lips

Outfit Details:
Dress & Necklace: Lace Affair
Sweater & Boots & Tights: Target
Jacket: Gift
Ring: Belgium
Belt: Second hand
Lipstick: Nyx - Stone Fox

I'm getting better at finding little spots for pictures. I've lived here a year, so it's about time. On my drives and hikes I make mental notes and think "yeah, this could work." Eventually, I'll have too many mental notes.

Breaking the Sunset

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Second Hand
Shirt: Hottopic
Jeans & Undershirt: TJmaxx
Boots: Ebay
Scarf: Paris

I always carry my tripod with me - I've mentioned this before. It just stays in my car should I ever need it. But it's become too rare an event - these spur of the moment outfit photo shoots. On this particular day I couldn't resist the beauty of the sunset as my background. So, even though I was wearing laundry day clothes I took to it. From the ocean's pink to the lighthouse walkway, everything was so perfect I'm glad that such an evening was documented.

Roadside Spots

Outfit Details:
Sweater: Second hand
Shirt: Kohl's
Skirt &  Tights: Forever21
Boots: TJmaxx
Necklace: Modcloth
Scarf: Paris
Purse & Belt: Charlotte Russe

On my way home on a day out, this little spot caught my eye. I always try to take my camera with me if I think there might be the slightest chance of squaring away some photos. From the colors of the outfit to the warmth of the trees, I love how it all plays together. There is something so enviable about the in-between weather of the seasons.

The Rainy Harbor

Outfit Details:
Sweater: second hand
Scarf: Paris
Shirt & Jeans: TJmaxx
Boots: Ebay
Purse & Umbrella: Target
Ring: Vintage
Earrings: Gift

My weekends send me off to my favorite bakery for my chocolate croissants. On the best weather days, obviously even on the muggy ones, I enjoy them in the park. The bakery has closed for the winter, but I can still sit back and recall their deliciousness.

I love so much about these pictures: from my umbrella to my sweater to the fog embracing the harbor. This sweater was rescued from the lost and found at the inn I worked at this summer after a guest declined to have it shipped back. I swiped it up. I had been eyeing it since the moment it showed up. Here's to the little things.
