Blue on the River

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Wetseal
Sweater: Belgium
Dress: Charming Charlie's
Purse & Scarf & Socks & Tights & Boots: Target
Scarf in last picture: Paris

The second part of my New England trip was in Vermont. The city was alive, the lake was beautiful, and the trees blasting with colors. I stayed there a few days - mostly enjoying myself. This day I went off to a small city, where I sat beside the river with a coffee and relaxed.

Steampunk and Blue Cars

Outfit Details:
Top & Tights: Rue21
Skirt: Ruche
Boots: Hottopic
Necklace: Ebay
Ring: Modcloth
Bracelet: Lace affair (?)
Purse: Charming Charlie
Jacket & Belt: Wetseal

When I first got those shoes, probably five or so years ago, I couldn't even walk in them. Now, though, I've managed to master it and who can resist such Victorian splendor?

P.S. can you spot the TARDIS on the dashboard?

Autumn Colors

Outfit Details:
Sweater: Kohl's
Shirt: stolen from my mom
Infinity Love Belt: Ruche
Tights: Target
Boots: TJmaxx
Necklace & Purse: Charming Charlie's
Bracelet: Forever21
Earrings: Body Central

For some strange reason my camera was only giving my grainy pictures, but somehow it goes with the outfit. I ended up wearing this to a bonfire, the weather and the outfit all merged together to be a perfect piece. Plus we all know that I like themed outfits, at least on some level, and this one felt so fall themed. The only complaint I'd have, is that the material wrinkles like crazy.

Messy Hair

Outfit Details:
Shawl & Green Shirt: Forever21
Black Lace Tank & Shorts: Kohl's
Earrings & Necklace: Charming Charlie

A lazy day means not doing your hair. I did wear it up for a while, but before these picture were taken let it down, which might not have been my wisest decision. But I mean, it was a lazy day. So, I'm off the hook, right?

Hi-Low Dress at the Library

Outfit Details:
Dress & Shirt(modified by me): Body Central
Belt: Kohl's
Shoes: Target
Earrings: Forever21
Necklace: Gift
Purse: Charming Charlie
Puppy: Indigo

I love this dress, but it's tricky for me to style. (See it styled different here) I don't know where the idea stemmed from, to pair it with this shirt. But somehow, it came around. I safety pinned the skirt of the dress, shortening it and made the shirt a crop top by chopping some off. It was a little fancy for a trip to the library, but I got compliments on it, so that's the important thing, right?

Red Stripes

Outfit Details:
Lace Shirt: TJ Maxx
Black undershirt & Skirt & Shorts & Shoes: Kohl's
Bracelets & Necklace: Forever21
Purse: Charming Charlie
Ring: Belgium

I was very excited when I found this skirt, it was an awesome price and so cute. Besides, it's RED. Also I love skater skirts, the A line cut. Because it's a little short, I ended up wearing my red shorts underneath it, because, well, I always wear shorts under a skirt or dress. These red ones seemed to go perfectly with the skirt, so if the wind was a little strong (which it was) then I was protected.

I like this outfit because it's my kind of casual. So I could pretty much wear it anywhere.

I stole a picture with my puppy, who looks rather happy. At the time I'm pretty sure he was hot, he barely even stood up for me. Normally he's a social butterfly.

Plaid and Corsets

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Forever21
Corset Shirt: Hottopic
Skirt: Kohl's
Necklace: Rue21
Purse: Charming Charlie
Tights & Shoes: Target

Red and plaid, a few of my favorite things. For these pictures I forgot to get pictures of my plaid earrings from Claire's that I've had for years. Plaid is something that has had a special place in my heart since my earliest teenage years. While I don't wear it as often now, I do still keep it around. Some style choices we just have to keep, just to remind us of who we used to be.

A Few Green Things

Outfit Details:
Jacket & Earrings: Gift
Scarf: Gift (from Kenya)
Shirts & Tank Tops: Kohl's
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Tights & Shoes: Target
Necklace: Forever21
Purse: Charming Charlie
Puppies: Ollie and Indigo

While looking over these pictures again maybe the title of the post doesn't fit, yet I was wearing a lot of green. It just doesn't pop. It's overpowered with all the other effects. It's a busy outfit, but I like it. Somehow with all the busy-ness, it's still casual.

In all my pictures I take at home, I have animals jumping to be in them. Often I crop them out, but sometimes they are just too cute to be left out. I'm a sucker for animals. (While I'm typing this, I actually have a cute kitten curled up on my lap-pushing my laptop out of reach.)

Mint Green among Ruins

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Wetseal
Top (dress) - Gabriel brothers
White Lace vest: TJ Maxx
Skirt: Made by me
Belt: Kohl's
Earings: Charming Charlie
Necklace: Icing
Tights & Purse: Target
Shoes & Lace Sleeves: Hottopic

The freezing cold is almost always the most tempting to venture out in. My common sense isn't one of my strongest talents. I was hardly outside for fifteen minutes before I ran back inside, losing the feeling in my fingers. The puddles were completely frozen and supported my weight if you can't tell from the photos.

Also, though not easy to tell from the pictures, my eye shadow and nails match. I love having subtle things match. I've been loving the emerald color of the year, though it has lots of names it just as many uses and green looks good on everyone.

Also, welcome to April, my dear friends. I thought it would never come.
