The Last Bits of Prague

Outfit Details:
Coat: Pull&Bear
Scarf: Stradivarius
Sweater: NewYorker
Jeans: Kohl's
Boots: TJmaxx
Luxe and Wanderlust Necklace: Modcloth
Earrings: (these are from forever ago, and I've forgotten)

So while I left behind Prague almost five months ago, I can't believe it's been that long, I still have this one last set of photos from there to share. The entire time I was in Prague, I dreamed of seeing the city covered with snow. Its medieval beauty, I was certain, would look purely magical with a pretty white layer atop it. These photos are the closest I got. The snow melted in about an hour and turned into mud puddles, but at least I got my walk in the snow.

Also this was one of my favorite spots during my stay. I moved around quite a bit, but managed to live near the river for half of my time there. I would often take long walks from the riverside right into the heart of Prague. How I miss it! And also recommend that if you ever find yourself in Prague, you wander the streets with no real destination in mind.

That's Prague in the Distance

 Outfit Details:
Jacket & Scarf: TJmaxx
Dress: Forever21 (prague)
Boots: DSW
Tights & Socks: Target
Luxe and Wanderlust Necklace: Modcloth

It's been a long time coming, but here it is at last: my first Prague outfit post!

With a new address and an enticing new city, I've been more focused on exploring than fashion. The day I took these photos it was a little chilly out and the perfect chance to bring out my new dress. I forgot how much I love dressing up. Not even dressing up, but maybe dressing with intention. My style has always been a big part of my identity and when I'm busy I tend to tone it down for more casual pieces. Those days I always feel a little less me.

As they say in Prague ,,Mĕj se hezky!" (Have a good day!)

Picnic Dress by the Lake

Outfit Details:
Pretty - Pretty Picnic Dress & Luxe and Wanderlust Necklace & Best of Times Heel: Modcloth

Lakeside is one of my favorite places. Often I've documented my favorite outfit there (like this one and this one). This dress is still awaiting the perfect occasion to show it off, which, like the title, I imagine to be a picnic.

Forest Wanderer

Outfit Details:
Lace Vest: gift
Dress & Purse: Target
Belt & Beaded Bracelet: Charlotte Russe
Leaf Bracelet: Lace Affair
Boots: TJmaxx

This is one of my favorite morning spots for walks. Since I moved it's a little farther away than I'd like to drive for a run or walk in the morning, so I'm in search of a new place. But for some days it's perfect.

I took a chance on this dress and it worked out for me. It became one of my most worn pieces during the summer and leading into the fall.

It's finally snowing here in Maine and I'm loving it - when my car isn't getting stuck in my driveway. I've taken my time walking downtown and enjoying the white covered buildings. My Instagram has a few pictures of the snow beauty. Until next time.

Harbor Side

Outfit Details:
Jacket: TJmaxx
Top: Kohl's
Skirt & Tights: H&M
Boots: Ebay

With this weird winter I could almost say that these are winter pictures, but alas they are from August and I'm still working from old photo albums. I'll get there eventually, but it's kind of fun going through pictures from months ago.

I'm still in this phase of finding good places for pictures out here. This is one of the little places I like to stop off with lunch and a book. I don't know how it fares for pictures yet. But here's  to wishing everyone a late merry Christmas!

Trips to Acadia

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Wetseal
Vest: Thrifted
Earrings: Gift
Boots: TJmaxx
Backpack: Target

My days off are adventure days. I took this day to drive to Acadia National park and also explore a little of busy Bar Harbor. I didn't as much time as I would have liked to relax and enjoy the sights, but I'm planning on making the trip up another day. It always so pretty.

I soon realized that in most of these pictures I was holding my hair back in some fashion. I think it's probably my new favorite pose. I also noticed the name of my dress is Dance with the Wind - it therefore wins best dress name ever. It's also very fitting for me since one of my first posts boasted on my love of the wind.
