Little Mermaid by the Sea

Outfit Details:
Dress: Gabriel Brothers
Shawl: Forever21
Colored Bracelet: Rue21
Necklace & chain bracelet: homemade

I mentioned my rock in the previous post, this is my rock. Since I started claiming this spot as my own, my family started calling me a mermaid. The red hair tends to reaffirm that. I should mention that I have no problem with this, there are much worse things than being called a mermaid, at least I'm not being called carrots.

Common sense would dictate not to wear a long dress when you want to climb out into the sea and down many rocks, all while hoping not to fall. But I tend to forget what common sense is at times, what can you do?

These pictures came out a little dark, as it started to rain just as everything was set up. These were also taken with help from my sister, which was awesome, because it meant I wouldn't have run(climb) in between setting the timer.

Olive Green Shorts

Outfit Details:
Shirt: Gabriel Brothers
Shorts: Thirfted
Shoes: Kohl's
Purse: Marc's
Puppy: Ollie

I ran out to take these picture just before it began to rain. For once I'm actually wearing shorts, which doesn't happen every day. But these shorts are special. I've had them forever and they have just always stuck with me. The olive green, high waist, and durable material, what isn't to love? If only all more shorts were like these. I feel like I should apologize for my dirty dog, but he's a farm dog who loves to sleep under the porch. What can you do?

Mint Green among Ruins

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Wetseal
Top (dress) - Gabriel brothers
White Lace vest: TJ Maxx
Skirt: Made by me
Belt: Kohl's
Earings: Charming Charlie
Necklace: Icing
Tights & Purse: Target
Shoes & Lace Sleeves: Hottopic

The freezing cold is almost always the most tempting to venture out in. My common sense isn't one of my strongest talents. I was hardly outside for fifteen minutes before I ran back inside, losing the feeling in my fingers. The puddles were completely frozen and supported my weight if you can't tell from the photos.

Also, though not easy to tell from the pictures, my eye shadow and nails match. I love having subtle things match. I've been loving the emerald color of the year, though it has lots of names it just as many uses and green looks good on everyone.

Also, welcome to April, my dear friends. I thought it would never come.
