Blue Toile and Falling Off of Docks

Outfit Details: Jacket (TJmaxx) Vest (thrifted) Porcelain Style Dress (also pictured here & here) & Necklace & From the Same Cloth Boots (ModCloth)

So that last photo? That was me realizing the wooden pole I was leaning against was not secure and I almost fell in.

I'm learning to be a little braver with my photo taking. I used to go to places no one would bother and stop if someone happened walked by. Not so much anymore, maybe Prague broke me of that. I even had a nice conversation with a stranger who kindly asked what I was doing and why I was doing it. I guess it's about time I started embracing this, I have only been doing it for seven years.

I'm pretty excited about this holiday season, I'm normally a bit of a grinch, but not this year. I'm looking forward to the whole season and especially going home and seeing all my family. I hope everyone has a happy holiday and feels a little bit merry!

My Mainstreet + My 100th Post

I could go on and on about my hundredth post, but I really don't feel like I need to. It is kind of funny though, I feel like I've had this blog forever and yet still like I couldn't have composed one hundred outfits already (well almost, some posts were about books instead).
Outfit Details:
Skirt & Necklace: Made by me
Belt: Kohl's
Ring: Forever21
Purse: Marc's

The mainstreet of my little village is a pretty place, through the years the town has tweeked it and improved it. Funny, but I can't really remember what it looked like in the beginning. We always have a street fair on that main street once a year where it's standing room only; but otherwise it's a quiet and quaint location. The perfect place for a walk, I'm sure about that. I've always lived here so I might be biased.

Sometimes, for outfits, the merging of patterns can be overwhelming, but I think the subtle pattern of the green skirt matches well with the toile dress. Plus the heels just complete the outfit. It was outside my comfort zone taking pictures as many cars passed by. It was just me, with a dinky tripod. But it was a quiet Sunday, and most people were probably at home, so it worked out in the end.

Toile in the Cemetary

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Wetseal
Necklace: made by me
Belt & Shoes: Kohl's
Purse: H&M

A pretty and new dress means that it must be taken out and worn and photos should be taken if possible. This cemetery is so pretty and I'm surprised I hadn't found it before for pictures. This dress is absolutely gorgeous, but the downside is that it's white and as a clumsy girl I know that one day I'm going to spill something on it. I forgot to get a picture of the back but it has a V back which just makes me love it all the more. Paired with the bright red lipstick and an edgy leather jacket its the perfect outfit. With this outfit who knows what is possible.
